SENIOR PROJECT 2024
The Alabama Aces are a conceptual professional women's volleyball team developed as my senior project at Auburn University's Graphic Design Program. The project aimed to showcase my skills in branding, design, and creative storytelling by building a cohesive team identity, complete with logos, uniforms, marketing materials, web design, brand guidelines, and print. Inspired by my passion for sports design, I created the Aces from the ground up, combining research into professional volleyball branding with innovative graphic design techniques to craft a unique and dynamic visual presence for the 2025 season.
I chose to create a professional volleyball team because of my deep-rooted connection to the sport— I played volleyball for five years and fell in love with sports at a young age. The lessons I learned throughout athletics, such as hard work, dedication, teamwork, leadership, and the importance of celebrating wins big or small, have shaped me into the person I am today. These values continue to guide me in every aspect of my life, whether it’s in school, work, or relationships. My goal is to bring that same strength and passion into the work I create, allowing my love for design to carry me as far as sports has.
