CHOROIDEREMIA

During this project I was tasked with the creation of a print poster combined with an animation that successfully represents the Choroideremia Research Foundation and calls my audience to donate to find a cure for Choroideremia. The current problem is there is no cure, minimal awareness, and no educational pieces to learn more about CHM. I created a poster that delivers all of the missing elements successfully and accurately. I hope the outcome of this poster motivates people to donate to the CRF, become more aware of disabilities that you may not notice from the outside, and to educate themselves and others about the start and effects of CHM.

"The Choroideremia Research Foundation (CRF) is the largest organization in the world focused on the search for a cure for choroideremia (CHM). Our mission is to raise funds in support of scientific research leading to a treatment or cure of choroideremia and to educate people affected by the disease; and to inform the public. Founded in 2000, a small group of individuals affected with CHM formed the CRF to make a difference for themselves, their families and the many others living with this disease. There are an estimated 6,600 affected male “CHMers” in the United States."
